Business Development Manager (PCT National‑Phase Services)
Key Responsibilities
-
Own the full sales cycle: prospect → discovery → quote → close → onboarding

Generate and qualify  50 + inbound & outbound leads per month using LinkedIn, industry events, and referral channels
-
Present Centerpoint’s fixed‑fee model to university TTOs, startups, and boutique law firms
-
Forecast revenue and report weekly pipeline metrics to the founder
-
Represent Centerpoint at US & international IP conferences (≈ 20 % travel)

Collaborate with our paralegal team to ensure seamless hand‑off from sale to filing
Requirements
-
3 + years’ success in patent‑services, legal‑tech, or SaaS business development
-
Solid grasp of PCT national‑phase workflow and major filing deadlines
-
Comfortable running demos and closing $5k–$50k deals
-
Proficient with modern CRMs (HubSpot preferred) and outbound‑automation tools
-
Self‑starter mentality and the ability to thrive in a remote, scale‑up environment

Patent Paralegal (National‑Phase & Docketing)
Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare and file PCT national‑phase applications in 20 + jurisdictions via agent portals and IP Australia, EPO, CIPO, etc.
-
Maintain internal docket: statutory deadlines, annuities, and client reminders
-
Coordinate with foreign associates, translators, and official offices for formalities corrections
-
Generate client cost estimates and final invoices using our fixed‑fee templates
-
Support Business Development with quick‑turn RFQ data (fee look‑ups, deadline checks)
Requirements
-
2 + years’ experience as a patent paralegal or foreign‑filing specialist
-
Hands‑on familiarity with PCT regulations, 30/31‑month rules, and e‑filing platforms (EFS‑Web, ePCT, EPO Online Filing)
-
Strong attention to detail—zero‑defect mentality
-
Excel or Google Sheets power‑user; experience with Anaqua, Patricia, or similar docketing systems a plus
-
Ability to communicate clearly with agents worldwide (English mandatory; additional languages welcome)
